A former Brendan Sailing Instructor, Nan has been part of the Brendan family for over 30 years. She was a lead instructor when the program was running out  of Shearwater Marina, Sandy State Park, and its eventual home at Annapolis Sailing School. After Brendan, she founded the Kid Ship Sailing School in Annapolis, that is also operated out of Annapolis Sailing School.

 Her favorite part from working with Brendan was getting to know the wonderful children and seeing the program enrich their lives and learning. She was also fortunate to have worked with some other great instructors who became lifelong friends (Todd Lochner, Dirk Schwenk, Pat Ewing, Bert Collins to name just a few).
